Michael's Soccer Game, Oct. 24th

LOAs at the corner of Sar's street.

After Dad's Sat. a.m. practice, we hot tailed it out to Hyattsville to see Michael's soccer game (4 on 4). Michael is a good little player--runs fast and knows what to do. Really fun, and it took us back to the old days of being on the side-lines/in the bleachers/standing by pools. Doesn't seem so long ago...

Sarah's here with the little boys! She came just at the beginning of the last quarter. MJB2 ran out on the field (in the middle of play) to see the coach/referee (CB). He had a birds eye view for the rest of the game!

Game over; I'm not sure who won.
Tony's heading off to pick up the pizza for lunch.

MJB's Second Birthday!

This was the occasion when Sarah said "look who's here!" (It was KJ) Matthew ran to the door and shouted (before seeing anyone) "Amy and Omar!" Not to be. We're all missing you! Still 8 birthdays to go!

The Weekend at Me-Ma and Tony's Saturday

Sarah and CB planned a weekend get-away for their anniversary, but MJB (#2) was not feeling well (fussy) and they thought leaving the boys with the grands, as arranged, wouldn't be the best thing. So, everyone, including Kate, came to Chez Me-ma and Tony and Sar and Chris went out for a bit of shopping, dinner and a movie. The little boys were perfect.

The boys slept in "their room." I got them little animal figure flashlights, which made bed-time fun. Lots of books to read, of course. MJB (#1) spent many hours of the day, including bedtime, reading a Legos catalogue I had! KJ took these photos on her phone camera.

The Weekend at Me-Ma and Tony's Sunday

Sarah and MJB napped, CB watched some football and Me-ma and Tony took the big boys to Burke Lake Park. So fun, despite the bees landing on our snacks. Too bad, we had to finishing eating inside and get some.....ice cream!
